Christians, Jews unite to perform mitzvahs

When one of the sunniest Sundays in a month of Sabbaths arrived yesterday, members of Rodef Shalom Congregation and Calvary Episcopal Church worked together inside, repotting orchids for Bidwell Training Center on the North Side.

Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild is western Pa.’s new Champion in Action

Agency receives $25,000 grant, volunteer and promotional support

Citizens Bank and WPXI-TV today named Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild as its second quarter Champion in Action under the category of youth programming. The Manchester organization, which has supported youth through its art and learning center, will receive a $25,000 grant from the Citizens Bank Foundation and extensive volunteer and promotional support from Citizens Bank and WPXI-TV.
