Craftsmen’s Guild continues commitment to visual arts

Continuing with a 20-year commemorative exhibition series honoring the legacy of The Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild, the exhibition “Art Within” includes works from 10 renowned visual artists who have contributed to the legacy of the Guild through previous exhibitions, lectures and workshops.

Of course, the number of outside artists who have been involved with the Guild — which has been located at the same spot in Manchester for the past 20 years — in that capacity over the past two decades is unbelievably long. But gallery director Heather Powell has managed to cull a magnificent selection of works by artists who are worthy of attention.
