Johnson Controls has high hopes for a jazz-meets-jobs training center in New Orleans.

…The Pittsburgh model, called the Manchester-Bidwell Corp., is an improbable amalgamation of local industrial champions such as H.J. Heinz Co., the ketchup company; the Alcoa aluminum fabrication group; Bayer; BASF and three dozen other businesses.
