Pittsburgh, PA - September 17-18, 2005, 10am - 5pm. A collaboration between Bidwell Training Center & the Orchid Society of Western Pennsylvania, the Festival is a celebration of the world of orchids through educational demonstrations, workshops, exhibits and greenhouse tours along with sales of exotic orchids from nationally acclaimed vendors.

Topics to be presented will include hydroponics, care & culture and technology used in the growing of orchids. Some of the genera of orchids being featured are Phalaeonopsis, Paphiopedilums, Phragmipediums, Cattleya, Dendrobium, Angraecum, Oncidium, Encyclia, Epidendrum, Dendrochilum, miniatures and fine hybrids. At least 10 nationally known orchid vendors will be participating and their booths will feature orchid supplies and an array of blooming plants both hybrids and species available for purchase.
