Admissions Representative, Student Services (BTC)
SUMMARY
Supports the admissions and recruitment objectives of the Student Services Department of Bidwell Training Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential duties and responsibilities include, and are not strictly limited to, the following:
- Participates in various Job/Career fairs for displaced, dislocated and unemployed workers.
- Participates in and represents Bidwell Training Center at various community fairs and events.
- Develops and maintains relationships with local organizations and agencies that may benefit from Bidwell Training Center programming.
- Conducts presentations to various groups outside the school such as PA Women’s Work, New Choices, Career Links, and similar organizations.
- Tracks and responds to local plant and business closings by contacting affected companies to offer educational benefits of Bidwell Training Center.
- Coordinates visits and tours of the facilities, and information sessions for prospective students.
- Conducts occasional high school presentations at local high schools, or at our facility.
- Follow-up with leads via telephone.
- Communicates weekly schedule and provides monthly reports to Senior Director of Operations.
- Attends and participates in departmental meetings, and attends school related activities.
- Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College degree in marketing, business or related area. Minimum of 2 years direct sales experience in admissions, recruiting or other intangible sales. Degree must be from an accredited institution recognized by the US Department of Education.
